Bag policy
The Chiefs strongly encourage fans not to bring a bag at all. If you do bring one, these are allowed:
- Clear bags up to 12” x 6” x 12”
- One-gallon clear freezer bags
- Clutches up to 4.5” x 6.5”
Only some gate lanes accept bags, so waits there can be longer. [1]

Parking
- You must buy parking in advance. Toll booths don’t accept cash, and passes live in the Chiefs Mobile App. [2]
- Your pass’s color decides where you park; the number on it doesn’t. Red covers the red sections of Lots A, B, C, D, F, G, J, L, N and O. Gold covers the front of Lots B, C, D, F, G and part of H. Platinum is Lot M or E. Bus/RV parking is on Lancer Lane next to Kauffman Stadium. [2]
- For the first 30 minutes after the gates open, “open park” lets you pick a spot in Lots C, D, F or G based on your pass. After that, cars are parked in order. [3]
Tailgating rules
- Tailgating is allowed in every lot at the Truman Sports Complex, but only for ticketed guests. [3]
- Your setup can’t extend more than 8 feet behind your space, and the yellow-striped emergency lanes must stay clear. You can’t save an empty space just for equipment. One canopy is allowed. [4]
- You can’t stay in the lots during the game. Commercial setups and selling anything are prohibited. [3]
